Job Description:

looking for a Sr Dry Cask Storage Specialist to join our dedicated
Engineering & Maintenance team. This role involves overseeing the
management of spent nuclear fuel, ensuring it is safely stored and
compliant with all federal regulations. The ideal candidate will
possess deep knowledge of nuclear storage processes and be
committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and
efficiency. Supervise the loading, handling, and storage of spent
nuclear fuel into dry cask storage systems. Ensure compliance with
all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
and standards. Conduct regular safety and performance assessments
of dry cask storage systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to
design and implement improvements in storage technology and
processes. Manage documentation and records related to dry cask
storage operations adequately. Lead and train a team of engineers
and technicians in best practices for dry cask storage. Deep
knowledge of nuclear engineering and dry cask storage systems.
Proficiency with regulatory compliance management and nuclear
material handling procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and
ability to work under stringent safety standards. Excellent
leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and organizational skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nuclear
Material Manager (CNMM) preferred. Professional Engineer (PE)
license is a plus.
