Saab, a global leader in defense and security solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Staff RF Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role is critical in developing and enhancing radio frequency systems and products that are integral to our aerospace and defense operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical capabilities in RF engineering, a creative approach to problem-solving, and a desire to contribute to national and global security solutions. Design, develop, and test RF hardware and systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality control measures. Lead projects from concept through production, including scheduling, budgeting, and interfacing with other engineering disciplines. Analyze and resolve RF engineering problems involving power amplifiers, transmitters, receivers, and antennas. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into larger systems and platforms. Mentor junior engineers and support the development of internal engineering capabilities. Stay informed of advancements in RF technology and apply innovative approaches in product development. Prepare technical documents, including system specifications, test procedures, and design validation reports. Strong proficiency in RF circuit design and simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, or CST. Expertise in signal integrity, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and RF propagation. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and to lead projects. Strong communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
