Saab, a leading name in global defense and security, is seeking an experienced Senior Staff RF Electrical Engineer to join our advanced Engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on the development, integration, and testing of RF systems, contributing to projects that make an impact on global defense technologies. Design and optimize RF subsystems and components using simulation and modeling tools. Lead the development of RF architecture from concept to production, ensuring performance compliance with design and operational specifications. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers to integrate and test RF solutions. Provide technical leadership in RF electronics, guiding the team through design decisions and problem-solving strategies. Create and maintain RF engineering documents and user manuals. Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development in the field of RF engineering. Conduct experimental tests and provide detailed analysis and interpretation of data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and military specifications. Expertise in RF circuit design, analysis, and testing. Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as HFSS, CST Studio, or similar. Strong understanding of microwave engineering and communication systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of DSP techniques and FPGA programming is a plus. Ability to manage projects, including budgeting and resource allocation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Certification in Project Management (PMP) beneficial.
