Job Number 662694BR Description:This position is an opportunity
to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a
Navy combat systemIn this role the candidate will become a member
of an established lab team working in the Syracuse test facilityThe
candidate will be required to learn how to perform and conduct
customer witnessed system sell-off testingIn addition, the
candidate will be supporting all other lab activities as
requiredHere are a few examples of what the candidate will be
responsible for but not limited to: 1) Installation of cabinet
systems in the Syracuse test facilityaThis involves but is not
limited to cabling, loading software, fault diagnoses, and
uninstalling the system post testing.
2) Administrative duties as it pertains to the following
activities.
aHardware security, test equipment tracking, purchase requisitions,
equipment moves.
3) Conduct system level customer witnessed testing using
established test procedures.
4) Fiber Topology using established procedures and test
equipment.
5) Perform other duties as assigned by the lab lead (i.eEngineering
change installation, general lab organization, support other lab
team members).
Most of the work will be conducted in the Syracuse Test Facility,
but some domestic or international travel will be required on an as
needed basis.
Basic Qualifications:
1) Domestic travel and or international travel to low, medium, and
high-risk security level countries is required2) Demonstrated
skills in electronic and mechanical troubleshooting3) Demonstrated
skills following established test procedures4) Proficient using MS
Office Software including; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and
Outlook5) Demonstrated skills utilizing different pieces of test
equipment like a Digital Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, or a Signal
Generator to name a few6) Qualified candidate must be able to
obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting
this positionThis requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
1) Previous field engineering and equipment support experience in
support of a defense program2) Previous Military experience
performing maintenance and operation of AN/SQQ-89 system3)
Knowledge and understanding of SONAR Theory, Design,
Troubleshooting, and Repair4) Understanding of Unix/Linux operating
system in the areas of file system navigation and commands5) Fiber
Optics repair/cleaning/polishing 6) Working knowledge of local area
networks and associated hardware (i.eswitches)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employeesSchedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensedThese condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and
New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or
Washington is $58,200 - $111,600 Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline onlyLockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time
employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off
(PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive
at least 90 hours for holidaysRepresented full time employees
accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of
sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidaysPTO,
Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start
date during the calendar yearThis position is incentive plan
eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California and New York is $67,000 -
$126,100Please note that the salary information is a general

work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer.
