Job Description
Facilitates activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial process, material, and products to improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support manufacturing and engineering operations on quality related tasks to drive to root cause in production issues
• Troubleshoot product and testing problems on the production lines
• Support quality auditors/inspectors on the production floor
• Support new product development as needed
• Coordinate quality projects, process improvements, corrective actions related to production in order to improve first pass yield, solve production issues and encourage quality culture.
• Modifies and/or refines shop packets, inspection instructions or other company documentation as needed
• Assists with the generation of non-conforming material reports, quality alerts, 8D corrective action, repair, deviations, awareness alerts, and non-conformance history
• Assists with responses to customer corrective action requests as they pertain to production
• Assists with quality assurance activities associated with RMA, GR&R calibration, and maintaining and generating records and reports .
• Assists with MRB activities and cause analysis
• Communicates quality concerns and works to resolve such with supervisory and engineering staff.
• Performs quality related investigations as required. ESSENTIAL SELECTION REQUISITES:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline. MUST HAVE Experience:
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
    • Basic understanding of audit concepts required.
    • Previous experience/exposure to a manufacturing environment highly desired Knowledge/Skills:
      • Ability to communicate analysis and interpretation of statistical, engineering and regulatory information.
      • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry .
      • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situation.
      • Understanding of IPC A 600(PCB/Acceptance) & IPC A 610 (Electronic Assembly), Microsoft Office and MiniTab Applications .
      • Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions .
      • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
