Role description:

Arcadis is currently searching for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Syracuse, NY.

Role accountabilities:

This is a great opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of civil design and environmental engineering projects within the consulting environment, with a focus on civil engineering projects.

This position requires a broad educational background with an emphasis on science and engineering principals and fundamentals.

What you will do:

• Successful intern can expect to get involved in civil engineering design projects associated with remediation, land development, and restoration for a variety of industrial-private, public sector, and agency-based clients
• May work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously and candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, cost estimates, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal support, project strategy development, scheduling and cost estimate preparation The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required and additional skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and programming are preferred.

      Arcadis offers benefits for part-time, as needed positions. These benefits include EAP, 401K, and optional well being benefits. The salary range for this position is $16-$19 per hour.
