Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Firmware Engineering Intern (FPGA Design) for Summer 2023. In this role, you will support design and architecture development, implement FPGA designs and integrate and troubleshoot designs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of FPGA design and troubleshooting. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.Basic Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering or equivalentExperience with Electrical design & troubleshooting skillsExperiencewith FPGA programming using Verilog, VHDL or similarMust have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearanceDesired Skills:Experience testing and debugging complex analog and power electronicsMilitary design experienceKnowledgeable of system cabling designFamiliar with board layout and IPC SpecsKnowledge of electrical/computing system design (power, packaging, custom circuits)Excellent Leadership / Communication / Team SkillsFamiliarity with common laboratory engineering tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipmentBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
