Job Description:

The RoleWe are seeking Senior Manufacturing Engineer Manager in Rome, NY. This individual will be the focal on multiple initiatives requiring their expertise. You will be tasked with developing and assisting with executing a plan that supports the customer's needs. The successful candidate will take a leading role in our Manufacturing team. In additional to steering the team's efforts, you will be the face of Quest Global to our customer's senior and executive leadership, so clear and effective communication is a must. In addition, they will be working with our Center Manager, Program Manager and Account Manager to identify areas of growth, create collateral/standard work, recruitment and grow the service to other customers. Job Functions

• Create and implement a project plan, assist in identifying resources, keep project on track
• Work with Project Lead to communicate status to customer, track deliverables and KPIs
• Meet with manufacturing engineers and technicians to evaluate process and receive feedback on work performed
• Develop strategies to meet the business targets of the program (margin, revenue, HC)
• Manage manufacturing engineers by holding accountable to KPIs, coach areas of improvements, suggest additional skill sets needed, manage manpower to ensure the right employees are in the right positions
• Work with Program Manager and Account management to identify a strategy to grow the service
  QualificationsWe're excited to talk to you if:
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry with a focus on Manufacturing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years of previous leadership / managerial experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, sourcing, procurement and shop floor experience.
  • You can understand a customer's problems and create new solutions to solve them. This is both a creative and innovative process as well as being able to monetize the solution.
  • Like to work in a fast paced, creative environment without a lot of management oversight. You are independent and forward facing.
  • Enjoy people and dynamic teams with diverse experiences.
  • You are a strong communicator who can relate to customers, peers, and employees from different cultures and levels in the organization
  • Familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
