Top Job Located in syracuse, NY Salary: $20.24Maintenance Mechanics sought for local metal manufacturer. Qualified candidates must have good verbal and written communication skills, be well organized and highly dependable with attention to detail. Position is full time, permanent. 1st & 2nd shift available. 6am-2pm, and 2pm-10pm. Responsibilities: ? The candidate must have working knowledge of Hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical applications. ? Able to read, write and analyze all types of prints and sketches. ? The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to use instruments such as micrometers and tachometers as well as burning equipment. ? Install, repair and maintain plant machinery. ? Cut, weld, braze, solder and fabricate work to size and shape. ? The Maintenance Mechanic must perform work requiring a broad knowledge of operation, mechanical and safety requirements of all plant machinery and equipment with minimum supervision. ? Adhere to all company safety policies including the use of proper PPE.
