SUNY's College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) and Upstate Medical University (UMU) seeks internationally recognized experts in Environmental Health and Medicine to a tenured Associate/Full Professor of Empire Innovation position as part of the New York State Empire Innovation Scholar Program (EIP), which aims to expand the ranks of world-class faculty in the SUNY system. This is position is a part of a cluster hire, one of three faculty, for the Center for Environmental Health and Medicine. The EE will transcend traditional epidemiology in its breadth and analytics approaches toward population and global health measures and analytics strategies. The ideal candidate will be a skilled mentor and active collaborator as demonstrated by a record of peer-reviewed publications. The research of the successful candidate will focus on environmental epidemiology, which might include (but is not limited to) vector epidemiology, environmental risk factors for cancer, the built environment and health, air/soil/water quality, toxicology, occupational epidemiology, climate change and health, risk assessment, or any other area that fits within the over-arching term of environmental epidemiology.
