Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A K-12 public school in New Hartford, NY, is seeking
qualified special education teachers for a contract position during
the upcoming school year. This role provides an opportunity to
support students with diverse learning needs across different grade
levels and content areas. Openings include: PreK Special Education
Teacher: Candidates must hold a valid PreK endorsement. ELA Special
Education Teacher: Candidates must be certified to teach English
Language Arts for grades 7-12. Science Special Education Teacher:
Candidates must hold a science teaching certification.
Qualifications: Appropriate state certification for special
education. Relevant endorsement or subject area certification as
noted above. Experience working with K-12 students in special
education settings. Strong collaboration and communication skills
to work effectively with general education teachers, staff, and
families. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt
curricula to meet the diverse learning requirements of students.
Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates.
Collaborate with school personnel to create an inclusive and
supportive learning environment. Location: New Hartford, NY. Job
