Our Children's Place is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early
Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational
environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. The teacher
will plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, foster social
and emotional growth, and ensure the physical and mental well-being
of all children in their care. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum
Development and Implementation: Develop and implement lesson plans
that align with state and federal educational standards. Use a
variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, games, and
hands-on activities to facilitate learning. Incorporate play-based
learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and
emotional development. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive
and inclusive classroom environment. Establish and enforce rules
for behavior and procedures for maintaining order. Provide
individualized support to students as needed. Parent Communication:
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their
child's progress and development. Conduct parent-teacher
conferences to discuss student progress and any concerns.
Professional Development: Attend and participate in staff meetings
and professional development opportunities. Stay current with
educational research and best practices in early childhood
education. Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood
Education, Child Development, or a related field Previous
experience teaching in an early childhood setting. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and parents. Physical
Requirements: Ability to lift and carry children and objects up to
40 pounds. Able to sit on the floor and interact with children at
their level. Perform duties both indoors and outdoors. Working
Conditions: Full-time position with standard hours May require
occasional evening or weekend hours for special events or meetings.
