Job Description:
Liro Group, a leading provider in engineering, construction
management, and technology solutions, is seeking a Senior
Superintendent to oversee and drive projects within the urban
infrastructure sector. Based in our Syosset, NY headquarters, this
role is pivotal in executing high-profile construction projects,
ensuring they meet the stringent standards of quality, safety, and
efficiency. The successful candidate will be a key player in
continuing Liro Groups mission to impact positively on the built
environment through innovative and sustainable solutions. Lead and
manage the on-site construction team across various projects.
Coordinate and oversee all work on site, ensuring compliance with
design specifications, safety and sanitation standards. Regularly
monitor project schedule, adjusting timelines as needed to meet
deadlines. Interface with project inspectors, contractors,
architects, engineers, and city and county officials on project
details and logistics. Manage the preparation of project status
reports, updating stakeholders on budget, schedule, and pending
issues. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper
construction techniques. Mentor and train junior construction
managers and other onsite staff. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities. Thorough understanding of construction procedures and
materials and project management principles. Expertise in
construction safety protocols and regulations. Competency in
conflict management and problem resolution. Proficient in
construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, or
