Training Coordinator/Learning & Development Specialist Location: Rome, NY (13440) ONSITE Job ID: #64906ContractThis position reports to the EH&S Manager or their designee and works in close coordination with the Rome Leadership Team to support planning and execution of all learning program aspects including learning implementation, budget monitoring and reporting, schedule, deliverables, customer interface and logistics for training events for the Rome, NY facility. The person who fills this position must be a critical thinker, a self-starter and working within a geographically dispersed matrixed organization. * Provide logistical support for training classes including scheduling, planning and operation of these events for the Rome site. May conduct new hire training (i.e. HR onboarding training, etc.) * Support meetings and virtual classes using virtual delivery tools such as Zoom or WebEx. * Manage shared site content with program related data, instructional, financial, and operational documentation. * Prepare various reports, billing detail, program metrics and overall status updates in a variety of formats. * Extensive use of a Learning Management System (LMS) or other supporting systems to schedule courses, classes and events, update enrollments and completions and generate reports. * Work with data privacy and other finance and communications guidelines to ensure proper protocols are followed. * Schedule vendor resources, create purchase requisitions and manage purchase orders and verify invoices. * Maintain company training employee files. Serves as the audit point of contact for training records. Assist with training needs and management for EH&S, Quality, Operations and Human Resources needs. Required Experience: * Three to five years of experience in a professional environment to include working one-on-one with clients * Intermediate skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and AdobePro * Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills * Experience tracking budget items, controlling expenditures and preparing billing detail. * Self-directed with strong independent judgement and decision-making skills * Strong ability to multi-task and remain organized * Some work outside normal business hours may be required * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. * Ability to commute to other local event centers-venues Desired Experience: * Experience in the learning and-or event management-logistics industries * Familiarity with Learning Management System administration * Experience with SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat * Experience with creating-editing computer-based training using Articulate Storyline (or similar) Required Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Associates degree preferred US Citizen candidates only All leased labor are subject to a 10 panel drug test. The FAA Drug & Alcohol program is a special program requiring an additional 5-panel drug screen with training prior to starting their assignment.
