This position is responsible for all general accounting and bookkeeping functions such as daily A/R and A/P processing, daily G/L and bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements and reports and also responsible for all Human Resource administrative functions including payroll and benefits.Responsibilities:* Daily processing of A/R and A/P including bank reconciliation and liquidity report* Create/maintain/update job files with proper documentation* Prepare monthly AIA contract billings* Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and other financial analysis reports* Prepare quarterly sales tax report* Manage the service department dispatch and billing program* Handle all Human Resource functions including processing payroll (weekly) and benefit administrationJob Requirements:* 3 + years of bookkeeping experience* Good understanding of AIA documents* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Proficiency in analyzing data and promptly creating accurate reports* Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in procedures and assignments in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication and writing skills* Background in payroll and benefits; knowledge of certified payroll* Proficiency in bank reconciliations and accrual accounting* Experience with Excel formulasRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
