Role Summary
The Accounting Assistant provides valuable support to the Accounting Department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions. A successful candidate is an excellent multi-tasker with exceptional communication and time management skills
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Gather and sort invoices and checks
  
• Prepares and enters financial transactions in internal data bases
  
• Issue customer statements, invoices, or notices as needed
  
• Assist with reports and records
  
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
  
• Proficient in handling sensitive, confidential information
  
• Connect with designated customers daily who fall below the 30- day late mark for account monitoring
  
• Composing and mailing notices, disconnection letters, customer notification letters, etc.
  
• Collaborate with management to identify issues attributing to account delinquency and propose solutions
  
• Assist with Accounting tasks as needed, supporting the other members of the Accounting Department
  
  Basic Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma
    
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • 1+ years' experience in a professional support role or equivalent military experience
      
    • Associates Degree
