Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,804 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - Endoscopy/GI Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience License: NY Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA ONLY), ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY) Must-Have: - Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification - Conscious sedation - Expert IV insertion - Experience in recovering patients from general anesthesia - Experience in performing intake for GI procedures Description: This position involves answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. You will observe patient vital signs. Sedating patients before procedures will be part of your responsibilities. You will recover patients after procedures. Administering the necessary medication to patients is required. Completing all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents, is essential. Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures will be required. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use is necessary. You will provide assistance to doctors throughout procedures. Administering IV drips will be part of your duties.
